“Quantum Physics of Matter: materials, energy and environment” is one of the study plan plans offered by the Master’s Degree in Physics, but it is also a lively research area that involves experimentalists, theoreticians, and computational scientists. Research topics range from plasmas to condensed matter and disordered systems, from green chemistry to materials for energy and from biological matter to environmental problems.
Are you looking for a thesis? We have plenty of opportunities! Have a look at our repository of thesis projects! If you don’t find your favourite research topic right away, don’t be shy: check our research interests and write to us! We are always happy to discuss our physics, and we can build a thesis project together.
